Sales Success at Tattersalls December Foal Sale

Last week's Tattersalls December foal sale ended well for us with our last lot in the ring Lot 765 making £105000. A homebred colt by Camelot out of Homepage we wish all connections the best of luck with him in the future. Two of our other draft made £75000 each, a lovely Night of Thunder colt out of Cosmea who is one of our boarding mares and another homebred colt by Highland Reel out of Ensaya. A fabulous end to the 2019 sales season

INCERTAINE WINNER

This homebred filly & half sister to CABARET QUEEN won the Mares Handicap Hurdle over 2 miles and 7 furlongs at Market Rasen yesterday. She is trained by Tom Gretton. Congratulations to all connections

BRAHMA BULL SUCCESS AT CORK

Brahma Bull, sold by us as a foal back in 2011 at Tattersalls Ireland November NH Sale, won the EBF Novices Chase at Cork yesterday. Congratulations to all connections.

FLYING SARA WINS ON FIRST OUTING

It's been quite a week for our homebred fillies. This time Flying Sara, another by Malinas this time out of Samandara won on her first start in the Mares Bumper at Taunton on Thursday. She is trained by Jack Barber and congratulations go to all connections.

HOMEBRED SUCCESS AT AYR

Homebred 6 year old filly Aurora Thunder won the Mares Maiden Hurdle over 2 miles and 4 1/2 furlongs up at Ayr on Monday by an impressive 7 lengths. She was bred and sold by us back in 2016 at the Goffs Uk Spring Sale and Lucinda Russel trains her. Congratulations to all connections

JACKS LAST HOPE A WINNER

This homebred 10 year old won the 3 mile handicap hurdle at Weatherby on Wednesday He is now in training with Chris Grant and was ridden by Paddy Brennan. Congratulations to all connections. His dam is in foal this time to Blue Bresil and is due in February.

SEA THE MOON x HOMEPAGE

Homebred Sea the Moon x Homepage 2018 colt, who we sold as a foal at Tattersalls December sale for £50000 went on to make £130000 for connections at this week's Tattersalls Book 2 sale in Newmarket. He has gone to Ralph Beckett and we wish all connections the best of luck. His dam currently has a foal by Camelot who is going to the Tatts December foal Sale this time.

CABARET QUEEN IMPRESSIVE WIN

This homebred 7 year old stormed home yesterday by 13 lengths in the Grade A Munster National Chase in Limerick. She is trained by Willie Mullins and was ridden by Paul Townend, congratulations to all the winning connections. (Photo shared from Twitter) Her dam La Dame Brune is in foal this time to Casamento and she has a 2 year old gelding by Soldier of Fortune, a yearling gelding by Sageburg and a colt foal by Doyen.

Foal prep is back in full swing

After a steady July and August we are now back to preparing foals for the upcoming Tattersalls foal sales. We have 11 National Hunt foals going over to Tattersalls Ireland on November 9th and 7 flat foals for Tattersalls December Sales in Newmarket at the end of November. Foal walking is in full swing and they are all taking to it very well. Pictured is one of our flat consignment NIGHT OF THUNDER x COSMEA (c) out in field back in the summer when he was 3 months old and us walking the second lot out first thing this morning.

STORE SALE SUCCESS

This year's store season began with a nice draft in Doncaster for the Spring Store sale in May and then culminated with The Derby Sale in Fairyhouse at the end of June. The highlight was selling Lot 441 - Masked Marvel x Royale du Berlais 2016 Bay gelding for €100000. Congratulations and good luck to all connections.
